Looking for new catchers glove something that has good protection and is a good value.Also what is a good way to break a new glove in fast.

Always been a Wilson A2000 fan.
Rawlings and Mizuno have quality leather.
As for break in, just catch with it.
You don't want a floppy catchers mit. Just a solid pocket.

Welcome to the HSBBW. There is NO way to break in a new glove fast. There are ways to destroy a glove fast, kill a glove fast, ruin a glove fast, decimate a glove fast --- but alas there is no way to break a glove in fast.

Rent a hitting cage and let a machine throw to you and just catch with it for a few 30 minute sessions over a couple of weeks and it will do wonders.

A good way to catch a bunch of balls with a new mitt is to go to your favorite baseball academy and get in the token machine cages and catch balls off a machine. Dad doesn't get a sore arm that way.
