Just got off the phone with a couple of region D-1 coaches--- they are ready to be put in a home for Coaches with NO Games

Men, You can't get any sympathy from a Chicagoan when you're talking about weather. As I'm typing and looking out my window the snow is really coming down. I don't know how much is forecasted but it is just sooo cold and disgusting. Our opener is in 8 days and with no break in the temperature, no time to get a field ready, I'm already preparing myself for the first of, at least a few cancellations. For the past several years we've had virtually no spring as March is just like another winter month..Good luck to you Easterners.

does that mean we snow coming in another 36/48 hours?

Calling for precip mix Fri/Sat/Sun....so much for Mondays scrimmage opener.

But will the field be in shape????

Field is a mess right now with snow and all but the grounds crew may be able to have the field playable in a few days weather permitting. Unless that's wishful thinking on my part....ya see we live across the street from the field (RF fence) and anxiously awaiting son's first Varsity debut.

SNOW WARNING for our region--upwards of another 6 inches is due beginning tomorrow night thru Staurday night

I think were gonna catch a break here in nyc this time. Looks like maybe an inch or so followed by some rain. Now if it just warms up some after that they can move out of the gym and onto the field.
