OK - High School season starts for the monkey.

Game 2 - in the outfield - line shot hit to the wall. Monkey runs full steam into the wall. I thought he knocked himself out - LOL

Minor whack on the knee - out of the game.

I ask him after the game - what the hell was that?
He says - "Dad - I caught the ball - didnt I?" - LOL

Misses 2 games.

Comes back Wednesday - 9 th inning - pinch hits in tie game - bottom of the ninth.

Walks- steals second on the first pitch - steals third on the next pitch - scores on a weak grounder to SS - bang bang collision at the plate - Game over.

After the game - he says to me "Dad - so much for the ******* wall heh?"

LOL

iitg,

I can relate.
If mine had been a position player, he would have sustained many injuries, playing with reckless abandonment.

As a senior he played position as well as pitched. first at bat he hits double and slides into second.

As the starting pitcher, the coach, his parents, the scouts, the fans were not happy. Smile
