Midlo was making the point that spring break may be the first time that teams will have three games in a short span against quality opponents. With rainouts pushing more games into the latter part of the schedule it will be important to see what teams can do in a three game week against strong competition. After all, the region and state tourney are each one week with three strong opponents.

You will also have situations where someone is playing their 3d game of a week against someone else who's playing just their 2nd, or maybe even their 1st. That can lend itself to what seems like a major upset, unless one team is really deep in pitching.
