Looks good and "area appropriate", although (as St Louis succumbed as well to the retro style), I can't help but wonder if new ballparks in 2040 will get nostalgic for the old cookie-cutter design of the '60's-built stadia.....
Actually, wouldn't that era's style have been more "Mets appropriate"
? I've raised my son to regard the Mets as an uppity expansion club --- and now the Mets are assuming the Dodgers' history with the Ebbets Field look & Jackie Robinson history. (Didn't they actually start at the Polo Grounds anyway?) Wha? '62 wasn't a good foundation for their OWN history?!?
