As a matter of fact I am, sir.

PASADENA, CA – The Caltech baseball team snapped a 228 game losing skid with a 9-7 win over Pacifica College on Saturday afternoon in the second game of a doubleheader. Caltech last posted an NCAA baseball win on Feb. 15, 2003 when they beat CSU-Monterey Bay 5-4.

The winning pitcher Dan Chou is from our high school. He's a great kid with a great attitude. I think he got more innings yesterday than in high school. He was a year behind my son. Someone told me he may have pitched five mop up innings last year. He's a program player. The varsity coach gave him a uniform because he wouldn't quit on baseball. His father knew his son's place. He never complained and pulled for the team.

I had a good time teasing my son today, "So when were you mentioned on ESPN? He's the most famous baseball player from your high school."
