Hey, I am a LHP who throws around 90, and an Outfielder who is playing Division One baseball next year. I was selected to play in the Florida Collegiate Instructional League for this summer. The league was down in bradenton Florida at the Pitsburgh Pirates spring training complex and mostly for players allready division one baseball, not high school seniors. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a summer league that would be appropriate for my level? Thank you very much

in most college summer leagues you need to be a freshman in college. not all, but in most of them it's unusual to have an incoming freshman.

try the nsbl,(north shore baseball league). some college players and some men. a good league for the summer. close to home. i'd say get your feet wet with the older guys.some are very good.

Sorry that I didnt mention this in the original post, as I meant to, the summer league FCIL was canceled and that is why I was looking into other leagues. I never run from competition, I only thrive from it.

Thank you 20dad I will def look into the NSBL. I have also been told about the Clark Griffith league down in Maryland.
