Again I'm 14 8th grade 5' 8" cruise around 69-72 mph, and top out at 73. There are two freshman teams A and B. I'm at a 5A school. So I would like to know my chances of freshman A. I'm also LHP

There are so many variables that are unknown such as competition, your skill level, politics.
From my experience coaches generally know the skill level of incoming freshman. All you can do is give it your best.
If you have good location and movement I think you will do fine.

BV, you are a unicorn in the pitching realm. A southpaw has all the advantages and are is usually given chances to play. Stay with it, work on your pitches and get in the weight room on pitcher specific exercises, you'll be fine.
