Because of a conversation on another site, got me wondering. How many of our kids baseball coaches are truely baseball guys or a football guy who, while he made be qualified to coach baseball, his heart is in the football program.

Funny thing is - our football coach is really a baseball guy!
That really is a rarity...how far out of Philly are you windmill? Are you really, really close to Williamsport? If so, that may explain this oddity.
This is a huge issue at my sons school. I think all baseball coaches would know if a kid was lefthanded after workouts for a month or two. At tryouts they asked him why he didn't play infield other than 1B. AHH coach, I'm lefthanded. They look at size only not talent.
