Our local high school 2nd round playoff game started at 12:45 in the morning and ended at 4:45 in the morning. Just incredible. Its been raining like crazy in Texas and I know the forecast was much more rain but that just seems like an unbelievable game time for high school kids. The next day turned out fine no rain at all, they could have played a double header.

Some areas have curfews for lights to be turned off but I'm certain the kids thought it was an awesome experience playing at midnight. Big leaguers not so much..
I am sure the boys had fun with it. Plus with rigid UIL deadlines for each round you don't want to find yourself in a situation where flipping a coin is the determiner to who moves on. That would be no good for anyone.

Wow! And I thought a 9:45 pm start time for my son's D2 college team in the regionals was late. Delayed due to the previous games going extra innings. Finished at nearly 1 am. Then had to be back for a 12 noon game.
