Was just wondering what the treatment and recovery looked like. Turns out my son's is a bit different than normal in that it is right on the hip bone instead of further down the muscle. The PT thinks he whacked it on something due to some bruising and sensitivity to light pressure. However, there was significant pain with certain internal rotational movements. The pain was in the very upper part of the muscle/tendon/ligaments.
