Wish they had a pitchers view.  Doesn't seem like he's crowding the plate anymore than anyone else does. Just wondering if something seems strange looking to a pitcher.  My son typically has a pitch magnet on him, getting plunked at least every 2 or 3 games, but that was ridiculous.

Looks like he only had 20 AB in 2023, but there is some scouting report on him. Maybe it's to pitch him inside.

Yeah, my son had a teammate who seemed to get hit about every 8 plate appearances.  When I asked him about it he said exactly that - that the kid hit balls middle and outside well but couldn't handle pitches inside.

My son pitched in high school, and led the conference is getting hit by pitches. He sent the attached picture to my daughter and I when we were out of the country from one game where he got hit twice in almost the same spot. Daughter wanted to know when HBP becomes assault. It was funny to see her get so fired up for her little brother, when he was kind of laughing about it.

My son received a text from a travel teammate the night before playing his high school the next day. He warned my son pitchers were told since they had trouble keeping him off the bases hit him in the legs every at bat to keep him from running.

Over the previous two years my son had gone about 12-16,  a bunch of stolen bases and  three homers against them.

After my son was hit twice it got real ugly when our catcher, also a linebacker went dead center on their second baseman breaking up two.
