Hello Guys,
The Virginia Hitters Summer Baseball Program wants to invite you to an open workout/tryout on Sunday December 11th.
Location will be at our indoor facility in Hampton, VA. The address to the facility is:
5015 Mercury Blvd
Newport News, VA 23605
The facility is in the same plaza as The Dump Furniture Store. Hitters Warehouse is located in the back left hand corner of the plaza diagonal from The Dump.
The reason for this workout/tryout is for picking our Summer Travel team. We have seen all you guys play over the fall season and past high school season. Further information will be provided at the tryout.
The work out/tryout is free for everyone.
The time of the tryout will be from 1 pm to 6 pm. You can come at any one hour time slot.
Time slots as follow:
1pm to 2 pm
2 pm to 3 pm
3 pm to 4 pm
4pm to 5 pm
5pm to 6pm
Guys we will put you through some drills: throwing, infield, hitting and running a 60 or 40 yrd dash.
Please if wanting to come, please email back with your name and what time slot you are going to come to.
Our staff for the summer will be at the tryout on sunday.
Coach Paul Bottigliero of Old Dominion University will be running the 16/17U National Team with asst Coach Jimmy Miles ODU alumni and Current Chicago Cubs scout Tim Druzgala is the Head Coach of the team.
