I'm sorry if this has been asked many times. I am seeking a good summer hitting strength program. The internet is full of them and I'm a little lost. Any suggestions?
I would try to find a trainer that specializes in baseball specific lifting. Absolutely imperative that whatever he does, he focuses on technique first and not the amount of weight he is lifting. A good trainer is going to make sure he does the lifts properly so he mitigates injury risk and gets the most out of the lift. If there is a local baseball facility that teaches hitting and pitching, you might start there by asking if they have any recommendations. Chances are, they will have several you can check into.
