Holes in the batters box

You have to repair them after every game to keep the holes away. Sorry.

How long has it been since the clay bricks were installed, how many games have been played on them and how deep did you go when you put them in?

When I read your thread title first thing that came to my mind was to advise putting the clay bricks in but after reading your post I have to change that. I swear by the clay bricks because one school I was at for one year put them in. We put them in just before we started playing games and they lasted the whole season. All we did was do some minor touch up raking and were done.

We installed the clay bricks in march just before the H.S. season started. I am pretty sure that they were buried 3" down. This same thing is happening to the area just in front of the pitching rubber and where the pitcher lands. I guess it is because these are high stress areas.
