The holiday table is set, the wine glasses, the candles, the bowls of food. Then your baseball player walks up and decides to practice his pitching motion...says he has control and won't break anything. Now that's what I call control! (but, he was right, he didn't break anything)

Mine swung by last night and ate all of our leftovers (steak, salmon) and an entire Spanish tortilla (6 eggs, 3 potatoes) but no Christmas cookies. Hitting and lifting started at 9am (since mid October). Pre season is in full swing.
As much as I complained about the chaos over the holidays, I am very happy the family are altogether. However, NYE was an early dinner date for the missus and I, the boys drove off to their respective parties. We watched the ball drop and texted everyone a happy near year and fell asleep with the dog by 12:10. Heres to a healthy and prosperous 2025!
It was another year of scheduling our entire holiday around when son could find someone to throw with. He was appalled to learn the facility where he's working out was closed on Christmas and only open until 2 p.m. on New Year's Eve! The gall!!
