Got a large 2 car garage. All the guys use it on the weekend as sort of a rec room.

So - I patch it up - and get it painted (in Carolina Blue and Gray of course.).

As the painters are finishing up - I start punching 4 inch holes in the wall - about 25 of them in all. Then - I wedge baseballs - with a hammer - into each hole in various spots on the walls and ceiling.

Throw in a few bats - a few old gloves - and some spikes - and the finishing touches - pictures from Life magazine of the Polo Grounds - Ebbetts Field - Yankee Stadium - and of course - the dreaded Shea Stadium (toilet bowl of major league stadiums).

My wife - and the painters - and my kids - think I am nuts.

Personally - I think it looks awesome.

It is in the Game.

Coach M,

Thanks for asking - they are both doing very well.

D has had a few bumps in the road - but he will drive right through them IMO.

Kyle is just pure fun - all arms and legs - looks like a large spider.

I have been following your son and am thrilled to see all of this develop so well for him.

He deserves it - and I am sure that you are very proud of that young man.

I look forward to following him in the future - and I hope you and your family are well.

Best regards - Paul

Paul ... this I gotta see, I'll bring my digital camera over one day and we'll grab some pics for the board.

We gotta figure out a schedule soon when we can get together for lunch.
Sounds great to me; my law office conference room is adorned with a large autographed picture of my main man Willie Mays making "The catch", so I think your tastes in decorating are absolutely on target.

I'm envious though-at our house, the only room with baseball decor is "my" bathroom, and my wife keeps visitors away, absent intestinal emergencies....
