I'll bite again. That was an awfully nice thing to say!
I'll be honest - no college baseball this year is killing me and yesterday was bittersweet. Sweet success for the team no doubt but wistful thoughts that my son was in the stands cheering them on. He wanted to go to Omaha in the worst way and put his whole heart into the effort. He worked out with the team all fall and has continued that in the spring. There is still a very close relationship there.
It was a great ride while it lasted but alas, no more. As long as I remain a member here, I'll continue with the mantra - enjoy the moment!
