Just wished my son good luck as he headed out the door to take the SAT. He mentioned that he thought he will be worn out by the time he gets to the last section of the test. I reminded him that one of the best innings he caught was the 14th inning of a double header. I told him to attack the test, and play all the way through the last out. Putting it into baseball terms seemed to relax him.

Just an example of how playing baseball can help in handling school. I'm sure many other have examples.

One of the great things I love about baseball is all the things a player can learn from the game that's applicable to life outside of baseball. And people use baseball analogies all the time. I chuckled a little during one of the football playoff games when the commentator remarked how the quarterback thrown a "strike" to the receiver.
