How can I personalize my Avatar

The .jpg file needs to be uploaded on a website and then it will have a URL (address). Then all you would need to do is copy that address in the avatar area of your profile.

I knew that, but how do you get 2 different pics (.jpgs) to alternate as I have seen on someone's avatar here?

I haven't done those, but I think they are an animated .gif file. You would need a photo software program to make one.

Once you make one they upload like any other file.

If you want an animation you must create a gif with either photographs or video. You need software to generate them, then you must have a web site other than hsbbweb where you point an URL in your avatar settings.

Do a SEARCH for a program named UnFREEz.exe

and Download it...

Its a shareware program that will put together GIF photos and then you can specify the delay between displaying each photo, so you can slow or speed up the motion.

Most photo editors allow you to save a photo in GIF format. or there are "BATCH converters" which can transform one format to another of several photos with a few clicks...

HiwasseeVol's instructions will work for you. See I added an animated gif as my avatar.
