On the Recruiting Timeline here is says "Play the best and most competitive baseball that is available to you. Best teams, best tournaments, against the best the competition possible"

So my question is what is the best in DFW? Our son is playing on a summer team, but we have no idea if it's the best around/available. What do you look for when deciding (games/tournaments won, showcases entered, coaches, off season work...)So all you experienced people ~ Help!

If the tournament has lots of teams such as the Dallas Tigers, Dallas Patriots, Frozen Ropes, Arlington As, DBat, Dallas Mustangs, Blacksox, or Fort Worth Cats, its a top-level competition tournament.

I agree with Aleebaba. Any of the groups mentioned are top drawer, competition wise.

But, I think he meant Blackhawks. Prioritize what your criteria includes & go from there.

At the time (2003-2006), Blackhawks team/org was more in line with our family values, sons goals, coach/team dynamics & exposure.

Sorry, you are right. Blackhawks. Although the Burkburnett Blacksox from Wichita Falls area are good too.

Agree, Wichita Falls area/Burkburnet Blacksox have a great summer program.

Son was with Eddie Aguiar's Denton Blackhawks, under Kevin Hubbard. Kev is with Gaylord Sports. Great guy!
