Just as long as it's enough losses to get them to back up the truck.
They wont lose more than the Royals
Would have agreed a few weeks ago Tr, now not so sure.
Yesterday hopefully is lowpoint of season but who knows.
They can't score consistently & when Lee returns why would anyone pitch to him? Pitching staff is a mess - they can't ever get to Eyre or Howry & now Dempster blows 2 saves.
Wood likely out again & Prior can't find velo in rookie ball.
No manager could win with this mess but they need a shakeup desperately. Lost 18 of 22 & swept by Marlins who were 3 & 14 at home. And all we hear about day after day is Dusty's extension????? Team is as dead as Tribune stock price.

Also - look at Cubs upcoming schedule, very difficult. Looking for positives, anyone?
denisr,
All this and the Cubs will make more money this year than any year in their history.

Sox fans don't show up when the team sucks. They get criticized for it, but management knows they have to put a product out there to make a profit. Now the Sox are drwing consistently. Maybe you guys should try staying away from the beer garden for a while.
bb...They can't.
WF is a vacation destination to people who watch WGN and read the Tribune.
Doesn't matter the product they don't put on the field.
A day at the ballpark; hotdog; pop; beer and peanuts is all that matters.
