Aren't the top 4 teams from each district making the playoffs in 4A this year? The 2009 playoff bracket on the UIL web-site only shows 3 with the first place team getting a bye. Was i dreaming?

Yes, Top 4 go in 5A & 4A...UIL will not update until very late (last year it was the last week of the season).
i thought that was the case and was surprised to see a blank bracket on their site. they are never very quick at updating.
Not sure where you were looking but here is the bracket. Tough to read but does have spots for 4 teams with no byes.

thanks bbk. i was on the uil site saturday and it was last years blank bracket. when i looked yesterday they had updated.
Glad someone talking about this. Do the abbreviations used W, R, T, and F stand for "Winner" (1st), "Runner-up" (2nd), "Third", and "Fourth."
