How to get the scouts to look at you

the method that worked for myself and my friends was email all the coaches of a school your interested in telling them a little about yourself baseball wise, and then most of the time when they respond they say interested or not and if so they ask for a schedule

Did you get the recruiter from NCSA, the company you work for?

Perfect Game- Sunshine Northeast June 5-6 in Long Island, Northeast Underclass Aug 6-8 in CT, Atlantic Coast Underclass Aug 6-8 in VA, Midatlantic Underclass Aug 28-29 in NJ. I am sure there are many others I could mention, Wladyka, Under Armour, Headfirst etc. This site should have info on alot of showcases.

Add SelectFest (selectfestbaseball.org) to that list as well as the area code tryouts held in Allentown as local showcases you might want to attend over the next 2 years. Please note that both these are invite only, so you may have to work on getting an invitation.

Birdman, how would you get an invite would you need a specific scout or just a high profile team to get you into it?

A recruiter is a person or company that matches your son and his wants and abilities to schools that need what he has to offer and have what he is looking for. Yes I have started working with NCSA and am working on helping kids at my kids school to get into college right now I have 5 2010 kids all getting great responses and 3 2011 and 2 2012 all on tract to go to college and play. I cant sign up your son but I can give you Nick's phone number if you want to talk to him for yourself.

I'm sorry but you cannot advertise the services of NCSA in your posts. And it is misleading for you to imply in some of your posts that you are just a parent trying to help another parent, when you do work for NCSA.

Area code requires the recommendation of a pro scout. SelectFest needs a written recommendation that can be a scout or a high school coach. It is pretty competitive. They get 600 applicants for around 150 spots.
