Anyone can make their own website if you know how to create them. Which is getting easier every day, and a lot of people can make a simple site with digital photos and include PROFILE information using Microsoft word, or some utilities from your internet service provider.

Several places offer free web space, especially your internet service provider. Typically they will give you 5-10MB of personal space. Contact them and ask them about their WEBSPACE. They typcally have instructions and help files which will allow you to make a simple site, which most people can maintain.

It only gets tough to do when you start adding video, but even that is becoming easier to do. What started out as a fun learning project and place to share photos with relatives turned out to be a useful recruiting tool for my son. I created a website that turned out actually quite valuble to him, as His "now" headcoach, told me he typically, never recruits a kid, HE never personally sees, but both his assistants saw my son play and the head coach claimed the video from the website was a big factor for him in deciding to offer a scholarship.

With our service, you maximize your exposure, rather than just letting 25-35 coaches from a specific area only see you.
And as SDBB stated, you can create your own website. The only problem with that is that you will not have your site website seen by hundreds of college coaches. You can still send letters to coaches with your own website and invite them to your site. With websites like ours, the coaches come weekly to our site rather than you go to them.
