I have a 2013 son who is getting interest from a few colleges. He is currently 80-82 across the infield and we would like to get that up...Are their any programs that would help with this?

Always a good idea to get better but 80-82 across the infield for a 2013 isn't bad.
Couldn't agree more about the footwork. Great post. I would still work the bands and long toss.quote:Originally posted by meachrm:
For what it's worth ... your son still has some filling out to do as he gets older so the 80-82 will probably improve on its own as he matures. My advice as a former infielder is to keep his focus on his footwork. Proper approach and footwork through the ball can even out many arm strength issues. When his arm naturally improves as he strengthens, he will have the footwork down with the eventual added bonus of arm strength.
I wish him well!
