I'm 15 y/o. I play freshman ball at Timberlane HS(if anyone knows where that is). I sit at 76-77 and top at 79 on the gun. I'm a freshman so I have a lot of work to do. But here's some video, off a very sketchy mound of me. I'm 5'10 and 150 pounds. I'll try to get some video off an actual mound soon but this will have to do for now. Any comments appreciated. Hows the mechanics look?

Hey 21,

I think you have some good things going for you...you get your momentum going to the target pretty well and your glove side looks reasonable.

Something you may want to work on is: More hip/shoulder separation and delay opening your shoulders to the plate until your hips have opened.

It looks to me like currently your shoulders and hips rotate open at the same time. You leave a lot of velocity in the tank doing that.

With due respect to HSB, I suggest that you may want to google the Let's Talk Pitching website and start communicating with some of the guys there as well as this site.

The only focus at LTP is pitching, and there are some very knowledgeable folks that post there. I suggest that you try to get remarks from Roger, jdfromfla, maybe ian demagi, and a few others who post regularly there.
