Nate, you need to get your velocity up in the mid 80's and continually keep working on it. How do you do it? Long toss, long toss, long toss, weight train, weight train, weight train. Work on your core muscles ad nauseum. Learn proper mechanics and learn to use your legs. You may want to look into getting a "Pitchers Power Drive Unit" that has a link on the PG web site. Learn proper sride length and learn to use three pitches, FB, Change and breaking ball and be able to throw all three for strikes at anytime. Keep working hard and, once you are at peak perfromance, attend some Perfect Game showcases and attack the drills and BP session with reckless abandon...work, work, work...
