Congratulations to some well deserving Illinois players. In Collegiate Baseball, received today, the TPX Pre-Season All-American teams were announced. On the first team is Wade Kapteyn, RHP, Illiana Christian HS. Chosen on the second team are Zach McAllister, RHP, Illinois Valley Central HS, Todd Baumgartner, SS/2B, Edwardsville HS, Joe Benson, OF, Joliet Catholic and Billy Boockford, Glenbard West HS.

There is a state-by-state list of Outstanding HS players which includes approximately 50 Illinois ballplayers.

Congratulations to all.
