Playoff Picture

Raiders and Bombers are in.

Deemax is in with a win. If Deemax loses, the team can still make it with enough points and an Oilers loss. But the Oilers would have to score a bunch of points and have Deemax to have a really bad game. Deemax could move into 2nd place with a loss by the Bombers, since Deemax has more points. 1st place is not out of the question, either.

Trojans need to win or have an Oilers loss if they lose their game.

Oilers need to win and have a Trojans loss to get in.

Leesburg can get in with a win, and, if both Trojans and Oilers lose.

If I had thrown that game, I wouldn't have made it so obvious. Unfortunately, that's just a good old fashioned butt whooping. It's been fun, but mercifully (for me, anyway) it has come to an end. And, to think I thought I had a great team going in to the season.

I was surprised to see the score on Monday. I was really worried that your team would lay the butt whooping on me. You did have a streak going.

Let's do this again. Maybe a baseball league.

I bet on Emanski to win, and I won! But, it was because the spread was 105...

Im sure the HSBBW fantasy football gods wont let me get away with that one...Karma.

Nah, I actually thought it was pretty funny. One interesting note about my week in fantasy football: in my other league, I scored 65 points (I'm no fantasy football genius, but this was an unusually bad week for me still). In other words, if I played with both of my teams combined, I would have still lost to the Kentucky Raiders by roughly 40. Yeah, no playoffs in my other league either, in case you're wondering.

It's over for me and Emanski. While I'm relieved to be done in one sense, I'm disappointed in another as it was a lot of fun.

I ended up in last place, but came close to being several spots higher, as I lost a couple extremely close games before I got a real quarterback. Once I got Brett Favre in a trade, THANK YOU redbirdo!, I won three of my final four. It was a good education in fantasy football, and of the importance of quality running backs and QB. I had pretty good wide receivers, the best kickers and defense and ended up in last place. Gotta have the top guys at the positions that account for most of the scoring, and that's running backs and quarterbacks. Matchups are everything, as some of our higher ranked teams scored about the same or fewer points and are still playing. Oh well, it's that way in all sports isn't it.

I sure look forward to playing next year. It was fun!
Man, I thought I was in the last playoff spot.I had won my game and the PNats were beating Skipper by 15. I didn't count on PNats defense to LOOSE 4 points and Skip's defense to score a whopping 16! It adds up to a 4 point loss & the Oilers home for the holidays.lol

I enjoyed the season with you guys. Good luck to the remaining four teams.
I've been in fantasy leagues for over 10 years. I've learned that sometimes it's the luck of the draw. And then, you have to watch who's hot, pick them up, and hope they stay that way. I picked up Peterson(Vikings) and he worked for me. Up until his injury. I have Derek Anderson and he's helped me out in the bye week. I picked him up in my other league and he has helped me to get to the playoffs there.

I hope to see all of you all next season and, hopefully in a baseball league this season. That's if there are any players left after the report comes out. Big Grin

I thought that my team was done for. But, Peterson came through for the Raiders! I just hope it isn't snowing, freezing rain, and/or windy during this game.
