I agree Natural -- the new site is a nightmare.

It is a great site IF you are only into football.

The site still brings up the calendar with the last week of football scores.

For basketball it was like no one paid attention. I would imagine it will be the same way for baseball.

The previous site was much better!!!

This is why I will be coming to HSBBW for my game information and not HSGameTime.

The star-telegram is no better. All last season they had no updates for baseball on the DFW-Varsity site. They finally got an updated site for baseball this year - after son graduated, but, he is still listed on his school's roster along with all the other players who graduated last year!

I think they just figured out that football season is over, hopefully now the coverage will improve!

The HSGametime website is not as user friendly as it was last year but there is one thing I really like about it.....you can go to any school's page (your own or your favorite rival) and select an option to have scores e-mailed or text to you. When the scores get reported to wfaa the score gets sent to you via text message. I try to do this for other sports from our school so that even if I am not catching the games I am able to keep up with them timely. It is a cool feature ...

Neither paper does a very good job. For tychcoson#1's team, the Star-Telegram has a total of 8 players, half of which graduated last year. On the DMN site, the players are correct, but no numbers (that may be the coach's fault for not sending them). In any case, coverage is bad for non-football sports.

I checked into this last year because of some prodding from PD about stat's..... The DMN and Star-telegram rely on the coaches to send in the stats... These stats could be correct or (cooked) but they come from the coaches.....(I have seen some pretty Cooked scoreboards at some High School games)(mostly blatant errors called hits ect...)

Yeah, and our coach never did turn in the finalized stats i will get on him about that.....

Does anyone know how to get to the archived stats from past years or did they do away with that???... that was a great feature to go back and see who did what in past years.
