Huge District Openers!

Rowlett VS Naaman Forest

Rockwall VS Highland Park

Frisco VS Wakeland

TCA VS Prestonwood

One game does not make a season, however a win in the opener sure puts these teams in a great position. Here are my predictions:

Naaman -- lot's of pop in their lineup; should score enough runs to win

HP -- not sure his name, but they have a RHP who commands the strike zone as well as I've seen -- If he throws I like their chances

Wakeland -- Frisco has looked great early but Wakeland has too much firepower for Frisco's inexperienced pitching

TCA -- tough call but I like Prestonwood. I don't think TCA has a pitcher capable of keeping their bats quiet.

Let me here you thoughts -- I'm sure there are some other great openers I didn't mention.

That's pretty cool. I will have to tune in when I'm not out watching ball. I like to keep in touch with my summer league kids. Got one that starts for Rockwall HS. May have to catch the broadcast tonight.

didn't make the game but heard it was a great one. I guess the WHS 3B did in fact knock one out of the park however, a kid from Frisco had a game winning blast in the 7th to put it away. Anybody here Centennial score?

Steel Cleats thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately last night we had a few technical problems early on the Rockwall/HP broadcast that took us about 40 mins to correct so the first bit of the broadcast was not up to our standards. We got it corrected. We'll be covering some games from the I-30 Classic on Thursday for sure, possibly Friday as well. Right now I know we'll be doing Rockwall vs. Forney, Rockwall vs. Longview and we should have some Heath games on as well although I do not know the exact schedule at the moment. Check the Sportsgram webpage later today for updates.
