Stay safe everyone!

Looks like it is a monster (Cat 4 with 145 mph winds) headed for Lake Charles, LA. Expecting a 15-20 foot storm surge (unsurvivable). It may strengthen to a Cat 5.
Stay safe!
Prayers for all in the path.
stay safe guys.
This one is going to be bad. It is still a very strong hurricane many miles inland. And it doesn’t look to be falling apart yet. Those people inland don’t prepare for things like this.
The destruction wrought by Laura is unbelievable. Nearly every window on the Capitol One building (22 stories) blown out on one side. Cheeezzz.
The remnants of Laura are passing through our area (Mid-Atlantic) last night and today. Very humid and occasional thundershowers.
We are quite a ways away from the coast, but that really was bad. Lost multiple trees in the yard, but thankfully none of them hit our house. Don't know when power will be back, as they damaged the substation, which can take a while.
I am glad to hear everyone is fine hopefully.
We are 90 miles east and about 10 miles south of Cameron, LA. We prepped a little, the usual amount when a storm forms in the Gulf. We did not get wind above 20 mph and very little rain. That was one of the smallest and most powerful storms I've seen.
Laura was supposed to brush by South Florida and hit the Keys. We started preparing, the Keys boarded up. South Florida and the Keys got lucky.
But more and more storms are hitting the gulf and packing a punch through warm waters.
