I believe the job was contracted out to a factory in Kowloon and, clearly, the employee seen here, working on the fix, is taking her sweet time (not a grinder, never was). Based on her literal take on the thread heading, maybe she's been waiting all this time for Rob to show up with further guidance?

She's going to die a lonely spinster unless we websters can raise enough money to get Rob over there and set things straight. She even swapped her white cotton anti-dust suit for a lovely floral print top (sleeveless!! In Kowloon??!! Oh, the loss of face she is risking by such a bold move!)
