i made 2nd all area team

two days ago my dad got the newspaper and was reading the sports. he walked in the room and said guess what. im like what? then he showed me the sports section and i was listed under the 2nd all area team. i was pretty stoked and it meant a lot to me. i beat out a lot of other great players in my area... not trying to be cocky but i was just happy when i saw it.

LW2ndbase30, congratulations! Ditto to Pop up's son. It is very nice to be recognized for your hard work and success.

RJM, we didn't know either until we saw it in the paper (2B was Honorable Mention - which around here only means that he was nominated, but still nice to see). Nominations weren't due until after school ended. Maybe that's just the way it works in FL.
