Sunday I was sitting in the stands at my sons game when a man walked towards me I had never met in person. I knew exactly who it was as he started to introduce himself. The "Gamer" known to you all as "Itsinthegame". I had hoped that I would get the chance to meet him this summer and as it turned out his son was playing on the team playing my sons team. By the way his son is a terrific looking player a centerfielder that sure looks the part in build and ability. We shook hands and talked for a couple of innings even getting the chance to sit there together as my son struck out on a curveball. Gamer is everything in person I thought he would be from his posts. What a passionate baseball guy! I am so happy that I finally got the chance to meet him in person after talking to him so many times here and reading his terrific posts. Congrats to your son Darin on reaching his dream of being drafted and getting the opportunity to continue to chase his dream. I would not be surprised one bit if the younger "Monkey" Kyle did not get the same opportunity some time down the road. It was great to meet you Gamer!
