Rocky,
The Identification Showcases are clarified on our website, but briefly they are to fill the need for locating players who slip through the cracks and to help players who are not "premier" talent. What I mean by "premier" talent is a player who cannot play at the upper D1 level or is draftable, but has the ability to play college baseball at some level.

We are trying to help as many players as possible reach their goal of playing baseball beyond high school, while providing a database for thousands of small college coaches to search for their players without the financial resourses to fly all across the country looking for them. And its working. We have had players offered scholarships at the end of some of our ID Showcases and others who have been found at events that may have slipped through the cracks and never received the exposure necessary to be recruited.

My son Evan attended the ID showcase in Escondido, and it was fabulous. The perfect game people are totally professional and run a class operation. It was a long day, but overall it was tremendous. It gave our son some super exposure. We certainly hope that he gets an invite to the national underclass showcase next year. Again, PerfectGame is second too none, absolute top notch.
