Strange but competely true story
Recently a former college ball player camp to a tryout camp. Claimed he played independent ball league ball in 2006.
Turns out some one with the same name as him did. About the same size, but different birthday and from the Dominican Republic. Had his contract bought out and reached the Major Leagues in 2006. Had previous played in the majors in 2004.
The above college player inflated his college stats too, the one year he played.
