Our 2013 son has been invited to the Plainfield Showcase on June 24-25. We've heard great things about this showcase (and the Stevenson Showcase also). However, the timing of the Plainfield Showcase conflicts with a prospect camp at a "high academic" college that he's schedule to attend (but not yet paid for). The college prospect camp will be attended by 5 of the 21 head coaches on his current college list (none of the coaches have seen him play yet to our knowledge). FYI, if he plays at the college level it will be at a highly competitive college with a good baseball program (Ivies, Patriot League, Georgetown, BC, etc.). Don't know if these types of colleges attend the Plainfield Showcase, if mainly Midwest schools attend, if only strong baseball colleges and MLB scouts attend.

I'd appreciate thoughts on which of the two you recommend he attend. Thanks.
