Tim Dennehy to the Indians #574 round 19. Looks like the Indians like Illinois high school lefties. Barrett and him.

So far Houston has taken 5 Illinois guys, 4 of them pitchers: Bogusevic, Lapinski, Ori, Himes and then Flores. Lapinski and Himes both from Illinois Weslyan (DIII).

Andrew Beatty in the 25th to the Cubs. Aaron Lovett from Kaskaskia Collegeto the Twins in the 25th also.

Eric Barrett from Marion who went in the 17th to the Indians was again drafted by the Red Sox in the 23rd. They were informed and made a new pick. Congrats to Eric for getting drafted twice in two days.

il2008, I just talked with kenny and yes, he told me he is doing a draft and follow with the reds.

Congrats to Triton RF Cole Graham, 32nd round to Houston. Cole was second in almost every offensive stat behind J-Flores, Cole is a heck of a hitter and is still growing in that aspect. Congrats and best of luck

I know a few players who are tempted to take the "chump change" (enough cash to buy a F150) and forego school, hopefully someone wise gets in their ear.
For those who were not drafted stay motivated & focused - from the baseball standpoint where you are today means nothing, where you are in 4-5 years is the bottom line.
I look forward to following the careers of all the Il kids & hope they go out and tear it up!!
