They are not a very competitive. Too many week players to go along with a very few good players.

GBSOUTH34- take the time and find out for your self, tryouts and fall ball information- Tryouts for the 2007 teams, 14U, 15U, 16U & 17U. Tryout date is Sunday August 27.
Tryout time is 9:00am.
Tryout location is Eagle Ridge in Orland Park. Wolf & 178th Street
Fall Ball teams will be formed at tryouts. Cost for fall ball $250 for 14U-16U, $400 for 17U

Doc runs his program very well and you will learn alot about the game. ISA teams play against tough competition, and will test the character of any player. My son has played fall ball the past couple of years with ISA and was also selected to play the past summer season.

Thanks for your input BatWest. I did receieve an e-mail about the tryout, so I was just wondering whether it is a well run program. It seem that I have gotten some mixed opinions and will probably just have to find out for myself like you said. By the way will your son play at the 17U level in 2007?

What kind of tournaments did ISA compete in last year. Also what kind of record did they finish up with?

gbsouth34- ISA had 2 teams competing in 18u showcase events, some games during the week (few) against H.S. teams. The majority of players were 16u and were challenged playing with the upper class but character and playing abilities improved with the experience. They finished the summer playing at Virginia Beach in the 16u Jr. Olympics and were competitive.

Doc runs a very good program. My son has played for Doc numerious times, attended his camps and has learned so much about the game. The kids come away with knowledge. Check out his web site.
