Illinois State drops 2 to #15 Wichita State

Illinois State opened up Mo Valley conference play Saturday with #15 Wichita State at Bloomington-Normal.
The Redbirds dropped the opener 12-1 and fell short in a late inning rally to drop the second contest 6-4.

The Redbirds are now 9-7 overall and currently 0-2 in Mo valley play. They continue their series with teh Shockers today(Sunday) at Redbird Field

Wichita defeated Illinois State on Sunday 7-2 to sweep the Redbirds at Normal.
