HitandRun,

My nephew attends IMG. He is completing his first year. He is getting much better and stronger. Academics are excellent. Classes in the morning, then baseball practice, and finally ends up the day in weight and speed training. Menus are planned for each player to meet their specific needs. A little pricey for my taste but my sister and brother-in law seem to be getting what they want for their son.
IMG is an academy for differents sports, baseball is one of them, they also have tennis, baskeball etc...and they seem to offer a whole bunch of schollarship money to eastern european athletes, they don't pay, that goes for tennis.
Most High School players going there are from out state, excellent facilities and training for the player who want to take his game to the next level.
The only problem is that's really expensive for the regular Joe, about 30K p/yr plus extras.
Also, as a parent you have to be honest and see if your son has what it take to get to the next level, beyond High School, for that kind of tuition, otherwise will be IMO, a wasted of money and time with your son.
Remember IMG is a boarding school, people from Florida don't care to much about it.
They play their H.S. season under Pendleton High School, they play against some good competition, but are not able to participate at the state championship...it's that enought??
Good luck.
