Just saw a disclaimer on a school’s camp site stating attendees will need to show records. Is this something new? It didn’t specifically state Covid, it actually didn’t list any specific vaccinations.

Son had to supply them 3 summers ago for an overnight baseball camp. Not uncommon for overnight camps, and especially with the continued rise in moronical anti-vaxxers.
Is that proper use of moronical? Perhaps those freedom loving bastards or healthy 16u kids who don’t want to rush would be better descriptions

So that would be a no, not something new. Thanks!

^^^ This crap is exactly what isn't needed or helpful at any level on a baseball forum.
We've been to probably 10 camps including 2 overnights and have never been asked for records, so I would think it depends on the camp.
So those of us who choose not to take vaccine are now morons. Interesting!!!
Do we need a safe space?

Do you have anything valuable to contribute? A camp experience?
To answer your question, never needed one. We didn’t invent them....
I finally just requested a copy from the pediatrician and kept it in my files to copy when needed. You will need them for college, too.
Interesting use of "we". Immunization records have been required for various camps, schools, etc... for years. Really should be nothing new or controversial unless you want to make it so.
Are you saying the WE in We need a safe place or We didn't invent them?
Well I didn't invent them and don't need one, but it seems that if you can't call out moronic behavior for what it is without offending someone, then maybe some do need one. I don't know who invented them and wondered who baseballhs meant by the term.

Those FLB's!!!
LoL!
If you think your kid is going to be able to play in college without providing immunization records, you might want to return to Planet Earth.

Not freedom loving bastards....
And name calling is typically a great way to start controversy so I'm not buying that you weren't "making it so." I'm the last person on earth who would need a safe place, I assure you.

The very last person? What about Jocko Willink? You are more prepared than him?
