In the process question

Before I begin I would like to let you all know that I am Canadian, I don't know if it makes a different in the recruiting process or not.

2 weeks ago I recieved a call from a college coach who said he was very interested and was very excited about going through the recrutiing process with me and we had a 30 miniute long conversation about the school and about baseball at the school. I was told to apply to the school so I did. The following day the coach emailed me and told me that they had recieved the application and he was very excited about going through the recruiting process with me. I havnt heard from the coach since, is this a loss of interest or is he simply waiting for me to get admitted to the school? what can I do on my behalf?

He may not be able to say anything further until your app is accepted.

Call him. He initiated it, so don't be afraid to ask how it's going.

We are also smack in the middle of the season - with rainouts and makeups the kids are pretty much playing every day! Give the coach some breathing room, but a follow up, polite email is fine.
