Very nice campus in a good area. They are in a rebuilding mode and have a new (older) highly respected coach that should be able to help the program find its footing again. The River has a history of fielding good teams that are usually in contention for the state title.
Florida JUCO's are very competitive and offer full scholarships that include room/board/books/and a minimal food plan.

Coach Markham is the New Head Coach. He was the Asst Coach at Stetson and took the job to be closer to home. Great Guy, Great Coach, Great Program. Beautiful school and one of the few JC's with on campus athletic dorms.

It appears Coach Markham is an 'old-school' style coach. If you like that kind of situation, Indian River might be a good place to be.
