Hello Everyone
I hope the year is off to a great start. We are very excited about the upcoming year of Indians Baseball.
The 11U, 12U, and 13U Indians teams have been working out since December and we are very excited to announce that the teams are set to open up on Sunday April 6th at Alexian Field, home of the Schaumburg Flyers starting at 11:30. I will have the website updated with rosters and schedules by Monday.
A special thank you to Nelson Gord, Chris Andel, and Ryan Schur for all of their hard work the past few months. They have been working hard to make sure the kids are learning the fundamentals of the game and learning how to play the "Indians Way". When this started our goal was to instill a healthy balance of practice, development and games at an age where we thought there was to much focus on playing and not enough on learning. They have done a great job and we look forward to following these groups all the way to the 18 and over Indians Team.
The college Indians are all set for another great run in 2008. We are very excited about the group of college players and veterans we have and we are looking forward to having the Indians Youth Travel programs spend sometime with us this summer. You will see the 2008 roster on the website and I will be updating our final schedule this weekend as well.
I also wanted to take a second to wish all players and coaches all the best in the coming season.
Thanks again for your continued support over the years and we look forward to this new expansion of Indians Baseball!
