Our indoor batting cage was moved completely over the wood floor portion of our fieldhouse. We are looking at options for indoor batting cage floor covering/protection.
Thought I would see if you all have this issue and what you use for protecting the wood floor in the batting cage.

My son's high school has a cage like that. They put those connect a squishy square things on the floor and covered it with that ultra gaudy indoor/outdoor thin green carpet stuff.
See if you can pick up some old school astro turf off a football field. I think that stuff goes for something like $.50 or $.75 a square foot. Not sure how funding is in your schools but you should be able to pick up enough for a batting cage for under $500.
Thanks for the replies. Since the school made the decision to move it, it sounds like they are willing to pay for a floor protection tarp, but the issue is I am not finding one on the internet specifically made for batting cages...we need something that is not ultra heavy and that can either roll or fold up...
They make gym floor covers that are standard for covering wood floors for events, but would like something specific to batting cages...thought they would be plentiful to find on the internet but not so much.
