I throw from a 3/4 arm slot most of the time...especially if you are on the left side of the infeild, coaches like to see a high 3/4 to overhand arm slot.
I go from a high 3/4. But like everyone else is saying, it depends on the play, sometimes you may have to go submarine or have enough time to come directly over the top.
I agree. It really just depends on the situation. On a routine grounder right to me at shortstop, though, I throw with a rather high 3/4, probably better described as a 4/5 arm slot.
