My son has made it to the regional finals and to Cary, NC a couple of times. It's great fun to be part of the USA baseball program and play with some very talented players. There are a lot of really good ball players out there and sometimes it's difficult to imagine how they pick the few to move on to the next level. If your son has ++ speed, velocity, speed or power you have a chance. If you have the money and time it's well worth it. Just enjoy the experience in the moment and don't have huge expectations. One of the best experiences my son had was at the 13U level 54/80 when a College level coach came out to congratulate my son after shutting down a really tough hitting Texas team from the mound. As a young kid he didn't have a lot of confidence but this gentleman told him he should own the mound and take charge with confidence. He said "it isn’t bragging if you can do it and son you just did it". It was one of the great days in baseball for my son.
